I will be looking for a new dermatologist and laser hair removal provider. I have experienced many of the interactions other reviewers have mentioned (and more), but put up with them because I wanted to support another downtown business and had already paid for the laser treatments. Unfortunately it feels a little scammy. 4 years in and I still need several maintenance treatments throughout the year to avoid shaving during the summer (I have my lip/chin, naval, Brazilian bikini, and legs treated). This year I asked if any discount could be given as I feel asking someone to continually pay over $1200 per year for "maintenance treatments" feels like a lot and I have been a long term patient. I was not given any flexibility, told they should have quoted more originally, Dr. Long was uninterested in seeing how much hair had grown back (the staff generally seems to feel uncomfortable about the bikini area even though they offer this as a service) and she talked around in circles acting like she was offering me a deal while really just proposing I don't get maintenance treatments in all areas to reduce the cost. Now I'm faced with either continuing to pay high prices for regular treatments to maintain, or paying another set up cost at a different provider. Don't waste your time and get trapped like I did.
